With the most recent Uni-Q driver array and other cutting-edge technology, the performance is precise and clear with superb dynamics. It is also easily mounted on the wall using dedicated keyholes, creating a high-fidelity home surround sound experience that melds seamlessly with the newest Q Series Dolby atmos speakers.

Any Dolby Atmos recording is given the vertical dimension by the Q-50a by firing its sound skyward.A two-way closed box speaker, the Q-series surround speaker is designed to fit comfortably on top of your current speakers. Dolby Atmos-Compatible Surround Speaker Q 50a

When mounted on top of Q Series speakers, Q-50a is precisely calibrated by KEF acoustic engineers to deliver incredibly immersive, cinematically vertical Dolby Atmos sound into the home. The latest KEF-Q50A speakers blend flawlessly with it to produce a high-fidelity home surround sound experience. It is also simply mounted on the wall using designated keyholes. Using its Damped Tweeter Loading Tube, it creates a high frequency sound that is detailed and organic. The Q50a is a member of the Q Series family and shares visual cues with other Q Series dolby atmos surround speakers, enabling it to smoothly integrate into modern interior design.

Lower treble performance is greatly improved with the addition of the damped tweeter loading tube, which gives a graceful termination of Q50a by KEF produced from the back of the tweeter. A new low-distortion inductor on the crossover also produces cleaner bass. Its Damped Tweeter Loading Tube produces a detailed and natural high frequency sound.

The Uni-Q driver array is the brains behind the upgraded Q Series. KEF's Surround speaker trademark innovation inserts the tweeter in the midrange cone's acoustic centre, bringing the realisation of the acoustic ideal of a single point source closer than ever. In comparison to what is feasible with a standard speaker, the end result is a more precise, detailed, and three-dimensional sound image that is distributed more uniformly around the room. By covering the tweeter dome with KEF's "tangerine" waveguide, Uni-ultra-wide Q's dispersion is further improved.
