When it comes to build quality, sound and looks come together in the ELAC Debut Reference DBR62 bookshelf loudspeaker. It aims to deliver audio quality (and stylish looks) that will change the way you listen to music at home, at a price often associated with mass market models anonymously stitched together from cheap off-the-shelf parts. The ambitious goal is due to the inspired pedigree of the debut reference DBR62, which stems from ELAC's original debut series. Engineer Andrew Jones was enthusiastic about the ground-breaking line. And rightly so. After all, he designed it from the ground up, redefining affordable high-end performance for thousands of listeners with DB-R62 Bookshelf speakers. But Jones always complained that aesthetics was neglected.Â
