Upgrading to 7-channels introduces a whole new range of options. Add height speakers to a 5.1 system for sound that is more expansive or, even better, use the two extra channels for ceiling speakers and create a Dolby Atmos / DTS:X, 5.1.2 system with three-dimensional sound.
